\\\\ to fill white space at bottom of page
When I use the "keep lines together" and "keep with next" options to keep a
heading together with the text it to which it pertains, I often end up with a large amount of whitespace on the preceding page when Word has kicked the heading onto a new page. In the days of the typewriter, one typed \\\\\\ on the lines of this white space. This indicated to the reader that the space was intentionally left blank, and in the case of a contract, kept someone from adding terms after the fact. In Word 2003, is there command to fill up this type of white space? |
