Default After accounts renamed in AD, Outlook autocompletes with old user's name

Hey there experts,

This one is a new one for me. At this particular office,
user's are continually being hired and then replaced
(grim). Nevertheless, instead of creating accounts from
new, we've opted to rename them and change all reference
to the old user within the user account in AD. Trouble
that I'm finding now is that users with Outlook 2002/2003
will type in an address from the list and it will
autocomplete correctly for the most part ex. John
(michael)
But that Michael bit comes in and that was the old user.
I'm baffled as to where it's drawing that info from and
need to change that. Other than that, a few users come up
with the X.400 suffix as well.

Any takers?
