There are twoPDFplug-ins on the Office site, one is in combination with XPS,
have you tried downloading this one?http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/do...950461033.aspx

This could be helpful

Thanks for the tip. I have no add-ins at that location inPublisher. When I
checked the same location in Word,PDFwas not listed either. I saved the
downloaded file and when I browsed for it a box popped up and stated that it
was not a valid officeadd-in.

I uninstalled/reinstalled yesterday and it made no difference with this
issue. I attempted to email thepublisherfile to a friend to convert the
file for me (as it is for a work project due today) and she informed me she
could not convert it (and could previously convertPublisher2007 files)
because it said the file was corrupt.

I attempted to redo the project incase something in that particular file was
messed up. That was unsuccessful and I went back to other files that I have
converted previously, and they all have the same "Publishercannot save this
file" message.

Word still converts just fine. It appears to be a problem in myPublisher
2007 only.
I greatly appreciate your attempts to help. Should I just contact tech
support from microsoft or take it into the computer help squad from my local
retailer where i purchased the software?

Thank you for your prompt response. I have un-installed the plug-in prior
to
re-installing it. The result is still the same. I am currently using the
full version of office 2007. When I detect and repair it says nothing is
wrong. I appreciate your advice. I believe I am going to attempt a full
uninstall/reinstall today to see if that solves the problem.

I'm amazed that I'm the only one who seems to have this problem and figure
it must be something that can be fixed with an uninstall/reinstall...

We'll see...

All,

I am having the similar problem and hope someone can help.

I just installed Publisher 2007 Trial. Then I installed "Save as PDF
or XPS" add-in. But I do NOT see a "Publish as PDF or XPS" on the File
menu. I tried to re-install the add-in. It says "already installed."
What can be wrong?

Thanks

John

Also, I looked at the Add-ins on the Tools menu but see "Nothing

Other things that might be considered.
1. I have Office 2003 (whole suite) installed.
2. I ONLY have Publisher 2007 and Office Accounting 2007 Express
installed (no other Office 07 products)

Also, how can I remove the add-in. I am trying to re-install it.

After you install this download open the document you want to publish and then,
depending on the program you are using, select Save or Publish to PDF or XPS
from the Office or File menu.

For more information, search Office Help for "Save a file in PDF format" or
"Save a file in XPS format".

To remove this download:

To remove the download file, delete the file SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe.

On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS
Add-in for 2007 Microsoft Office programs and then click Remove or Add/Remove.
If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.

Just see this. I confess:

I didn't even install the Plug-in. I followed link on MS website but
it first installed some prerequist things. I tried several times it
kept saying "already install ..." until I finally read the whole
message and it was NOT the plug-in.
