Default Upgraded from XP to Publisher 2003

I upgraded my software from Publisher XP to Publisher 2003, and now I am not
able to open any Publisher files that were done in the XP edition. I get the
error message "Publisher cannot find the file you specified."

I have tried uninstalling the 2003 and reinstalling the XP edition, but for
some reason the XP CD is now corrupt!

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Do you have Norton installed on your system?

it would be very unusual to corrupt a read-only CVD. So unusual that I'd
have to say it was impossible without special software.

Somehting else hase changed radically on your system. A new user has
been defined, perhaps--making older files/applications invisible. Or
there is some other problem.

Ding ding ding. Norton is notorious for causing issues in Publisher. Can you
disable "script blocking" and maybe "Office Plug-ins"?
