product key
I purchased Microsoft office home and student 2007 on line and it gave me a
product key...but when i go into the trial and convert and put in the product key it is telling me that it is wrong. It isn't wrong and I just spent money for this product that I can't or don't know how to access. -- marie |

I'm going to take a guess that you're trying to use the product key to
activate Outlook... ....Outlook isn't part of the Home and Student Edition 2007. Try the product key in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote. -- -Ben- Ben M. I tried excel and word. The last time I tried it, it was in outlook. I had
downloaded a trial....then the trial ran out so I went to the website and purchased the Office home and student. When I downloaded it, it took an hour to do and when I returned back to my computer I was back to the original page and there was nothing else for me to do so I assumed that it had downloaded. -- marie "Ben M. When you purchase STUDENT you get a media kit, at least you're suppose to get one if you got it from a legit source. Where did you purchase it from? Did you call MS to activate it and explain? -- Leythos - Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum. - Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist" (remove 999 for proper email address) |

OK, but have you INSTALLED it? You need to uninstall the trial version you already have, (control panel-Add/remove programs) and then find the file you downloaded and double-click on it to start the installation process. You will be asked for the product key that you were sent when you downloaded the file at some point in this process. HTH |
