Default Internal Application Error when forwarding appointment.

I am using Outlook 2000 & Win XP. I used to be able to forward an appointment by highlighting the appointment in the calendar and clicking Actions/Forward as an iCalendar. Now I get an error that says "Internal Application Error". Outlook configured as Corporate & Workgroup on home network workgroup. Any suggestions?
