How do I get all my Word documents within one Word window

But is there some way to show the buttons yet have the Word documents all
open in one window? The buttons are useful to navigate quickly, but the
multiple windows open clutters the screen.

In Tools Options View, uncheck "Windows in Taskbar".

In Word 2002 and 2003, you can clear the "Windows in Taskbar" check box on
the View tab of Tools | Options. This will put all Word documents on a
single Taskbar button. I think this is not what you want, but there is no
other way to combine Word documents into a single window. Since I run Word
maximized, I never see more than one document regardless.
