Default Linking to a page in seperate document

I have come a cross an issue. When adding a hyperlink in a publisher document
that links to a page in a pdf, you can not go back in to the hyperlink
because it will remove letters.

Example:

becomes
Http://mysite.com/file.pdf#age=5

So for each time you look at the link in the Hyperlink editor it removes a
letter.

Anyone know of a solution to stop that?

Might try the links again. I only get 404 errors.
