Default Headers and footers

Is it possible to adjust both footers and headers, I would like to shrink my
down to about half their size. Seems simple but have not be able to
accomplish this yet.

Program, version, etc. would be nice to know. What do you mean by "shrink
my down..."? Most programs have ability but without knowing what the
program and version it is hard to help.

Default Headers and footers

Publisher's headers and footers are no more than text boxes. View, Master Page,
you can move the boxes, resize the boxes, delete the boxes and so on.
