Can you guide me through that using the menus because my edition is not
English and the help does not work with the Danish word meaning the same.

I am about to write a very extensive document that is going to be read on
screen so I would like my inventory list ( I don`t know that is the
corrrect
word ) to be clickable.

So that i have my front ( thank you Suzanne ) and then my inventory list.
There I would like the reader to be able to click on chapter 6 for
instance
and then be presented with the part of document where chapter 6 begins.

How do I do this in word 2003?

Sincerely
Andreas

I figured it out but I can only create 2 submenues in the table of contents.

In the formatting box I have Heading 1,2 and 3 and the some bullets. What do
I do when I want heading 4?

After that I want to start a totally new chapter - do I use Heading 1 again,
then?

You've misunderstood how to use headings, I think. You use Heading 1 for
your top-level heading (usually the chapter title), Heading 2 for the first
level of subheads, Heading 3 for the next level, etc. There are nine heading
levels, but only the first three are displayed by default. You can get all
of them from the Format Style dialog. As I gather you have figured out, Word
will create an automatic table of contents for you based on the built-in
heading styles, and by default the TOC entries are linked to the pages.

For more on TOCs (after reading "Create a table of contents" in Word's
Help), see http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/toc/CreateATOC.html and
