I've created a Table in Publisher 2007, but it will not copy/paste to
another
Publisher publication. Paste Special does not work. I then saved it as
a
file, but Save As and Insert File does not work. What will work? Thank
you.

I wasn't using Select Table. But even doing that, only the type in the
Table was pasted into the blank page. The cell borders were not.

.
Rob: Not really fixed. It didn't paste the Table cells, just the figures, so doesn't look like a table. ALSO -- I just tried to get an Excel table into a Publisher page. The table copied to the clipboard, but would not paste into the page.

I've never had much success pasting tables. Mine are usually from Excel,
not necessarily very big, but just don't seem to want to go in. I find
my best results come with making a picture of the table, Publisher seems
to be able to pictures more reliably than tables.

I do it ALL the time, you have to make sure you are selecting the
table...not just highlighting the text and copying that.

I think I'll do something like that. Or -- I was able to create the table
okay on one of the newsletter pages, so I will keep it there, and key new
figures into it every month. My problem was sending the table via email to
our treasurer and having her send it back each month, then pasting the new
one back in. Didn't work. She can just send me the new figures. Thanks to all
of you for your help. You are good people!

Tom

and is she sending it back as an attachment or in the body of the message?
if in the body of the message that could be your problem.
