It does upport footers ..I'm using them ! Can I get roman numerals counting ?

In Pub 2003 anyway: Insert/Section/Number Format - the drop down menu caters
for roman numerals, either upper or lower case.

Jim to answer your question...Change the page number format for a new section

On the Insert menu, click Section.
Select the Begin a section with this page check box.
Under Page Numbering, select the number format you want from the Number
format box.
Select other options as desired.
To restart the page numbering, click Start at, and then type or select the
page number you want the new section to start with.


Margoloota, yes, it does, just because you don't know something doesn't mean
you have to answer. You know sometimes it's better to remain silent and let
the world think your're a fool, then to to open your mouth and remove all
