How do I save a publisher Doc as a thumbnail
Reason?
Are the posters Pub files? If so, group and lock all the elements, then right click on a corner and Save As Picture. What type of image file you save as depends on intent. If you have a lot of them to thumbnail and want them all same size...try downloading IrFanview (freebie) you can batch process, resize, rename, optimize all in one shot. How do I save a publisher Doc as a thumbnail
Hi. Ron -
If I just want to paste into another Publisher document, I select the entire page, COPY, PASTE SPECIAL-AS PICTURE. You can grab a corner and push to reduce the size and move it where ever you want. (Results vary. Works best if you keep the aspect ratio.) If I want to have a thumbnail to use on a web page, I select the entire page, Copy, paste into a photo-editing program and reduce the size there. Then save it as a jpeg. (This file can also be inserted into any file, as would any jpeg.) M.
