Default How do I play a CUSTOM sound when new msgs arrive Outlook2002?

How do I change the sound to a different .wav file that plays when new e-mail
messages arrive?

I was able to do this for reminders. I know where to turn the e-mail sound
on, but can't find where to point to a custom .wav file.

You can change the sound through Sounds in the Windows Control Panel -- look
for the one that says New Mail Notification or something like that.

How do I play a unique sound for a specific incoming e-mail addressee?

I have sound turned on and am aware of all incoming e-mails in Outlook 2007,
but I would like a different (unique) sound for a specific e-mail addressee.

Is that possible?

You'd need to create a separate rule for each sender that is to have a unique
sound and include the "play a sound" action, specifying the appropriate sound
file (I believe it must be a wav file).
