Default TransferDatabase

Thanks for your reply. When I try to use the TransferDatabase command I get
the following error "Not a valid path. Make sure the path name is spelled
correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file
resides." I thought I had the correct path. Also, this is a file on my
computer - not on a server. Would doing this just transfer the tables?
That is all I'm looking to be able to do. Someone else told me to export
the table to Excel and that Works could read it from there. Someone else
told me to export the table as a text file. Thank you for your time and
help.

Not directly.

You can use TransferDatabase to export the Access data in dBase format, and
then Works can import the dBase file.

Can you import a Microsoft Access table to either the Microsoft Works
Spreadsheet or the Works Database? I am planning on creating a database

to
keep a log of the books in my church library. I have Access 2003 at home
and my church has Works 4.5. I want to use Access because you can do more
with it and because I'm more familiar with it. However, I want to be able
to make the data accessible in a basic format to someone who might not

have
Access (incase it is needed or incase I no longer keep track of the
library). Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
