Default How do i view in book format

Within word, I wish to view a document on screen in book format with the
corect odd and even pages side by side.

I know you can view in book format in print preview and reading layout, but
they do do not have the right pages side by side. Is there a button or
process to do this please?

Any suggestions other than adding a blank page which throws the page
numbering out?

If you have either "Different odd and even" or "Mirror margins" enabled,
Print Preview will show a page spread.
