Default When I open a specific file in Publisher, Publisher shuts down

Like my title says, I can't open a specific file in Publisher. When I try
to open it, I get "Microsoft Publisher has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I haven't used this file in
awhile, but had no problem with it last time. I tried opening 2 other files
and those opened with no problems. I really don't want to have to redo this
file so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much

What version Publisher?

Description of the Publisher 2007 hotfix package (Publisher-x-none.msp):
October 27, 2009
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/976177/en-us

If you have other versions of Publisher:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;198256

or this registry fix

Error message when you try to open a publication in Publisher: "Publisher cannot
open the file" or "Publisher has detected a problem"

P.S. Are you using 2002?

PUB2002: "Publisher Has Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close" Error Message
When You Start Publisher

There is a details button in the error message box. What does it say?
