updating flow chart from txt file
I am using Visio 2000 (6.0.1245) and Excel 2000 (9.0.2720).
When I do a Property Report in Excel format, I would like to make soem changes on the spreadsheet (new Text, Number Text, shape color, etc) and then import the spreadsheet data (perhaps as a txt file) back into Visio to make an updated flowchart. Is this possible, short of having enough information in the file to recreate the whole flowchart from scratch? If that's what I need to do, how is it done? I have been able to import a text file which becomes a new flowchart, but it was just a small test file. Mary
