Default What software is best for archiving e-mail in a small business?

I'm no Outlook expert, but I do know that we don't use Exchange. We
use internet mail. What software should I be using then? And, is
Exchange Enterprise 3rd party software? If this or any other software
is appropriate for our purposes, can you give me the manufacturer name
so I can research it? Thanks.
Michael

Space isn't an issue? How about money? If that isn't an issue either I would
assign an Exchange server as a dedicated archive server. Exchange Standard
has a 16GB Mailbox store limit but Exchange Enterprise doesn't have this
limit and it allows you to create more message stores as well.

Hi.
We have 8 workstations in a financial services company. We need
to archive our e-mail, per the SEC, and be able to find certain
e-mails quickly when needed. What's the best approach/software to
use? Space isn't an issue, so we'll likely archive everything.

Thanks
