I created a DL in contacts. I did a drop and drag to put it in Business
Contact folder, now ir does not show as a DL. How can I get my list of
emails and names back?

DL's are fragile and often do not survive moving. What is it now if it is
not a DL? What do you mean by "Business Contact Folder?"

Especially not moving to the Business Contacts folder, which is actually a replica of the Business Contact Manager database and doesn't support distribution lists at all. I can't think of any method that would recover it.
