Default Outlook calender and contact data files.

My laptop crashed but my hard drive is still working. I bought a new laptop
and imported the *.pst file but the calender and contacts aren't there.
Where are these files kept and what is there extension? Thanks in advance for
your help!

They're in the PST file too. When you "imported" the .PST file did you
do a File | Import? What version of Outlook are you using?

UPDATE:
I imported the PST file again and my contacts came over but still no
calander. Is it possible that I created them in a way to make them a file
type other than PST?

No, but you certainly made some other errors. Read the many posts here that
tell you how to transfer Outlook data. You will quickly discover that
importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data.
Just copy your Outlook data file and open it in the other installation.
