To MS: When will Printing Error in Visio 2k SP2 be fixed?

To Microsoft Staff: When will we see a fix for the printer problem in Visio 2000 SP2 ?

SP2 was released the end of March. By early April, the General Questions forum had a couple postings from those of us that found after installing SP2 Visio 2000 would only print to the Windows default printer, no matter what other printer was selected.

On April 15th, Mark Nelson of MS replied to information posted about this problem (see New User forum, under thread titled "Visio 2000 Pro Service Release 1" began April 7th) with:
Thanks for the update. We are aware of the issue and are investigating the
problem.

Not a single word since. Has it been investigated, solved, and can we expect a fix for this? Please, at least a YES or NO answer to know if I should stop watching for an update to Visio 2000 SP2.

You must have missed my previous update on the problem. Microsoft has
investigated the problem and will be working on a fix for it. A timeframe
for the release of a fix has not been set, mainly because the sustaining
engineering team has focused first on the release of Visio 2003 SP1. It
just so happens that SP1 was released today, so the team will turn its
attention back to the other Visio releases.

Thanks so much for the update, I look foward to the corrected SP2. In regards to missing your previous update, where did you post an update for this issue ... I had searched the forum, what I thought to be pretty thoroughly, looking for news on this issue before posting?
