Default Microsoft Office 2000 and Windows XP

Just bought this new computer with windows XP and was
wondering if you can install the Microsoft Office 2000
Professional.

Yes you can unless it is an oem version.

OEM = original equipment manufacturer. If you purchased Office with your
old computer, it is OEM and can only be used on that machine.
