My tick boxes won't work?
I have a form based on a query. There are a number of tick boxes but none of
them are active. The query Reciord set type is Dynaset (Inconsistent Updates) and the form has Yes to additions, deletions and edits and none of them are locked. Can anyone suggest a rason why I can't click on them or edit existing boxes which are ticked? Thanks Tony -- Why don't my grey cells communicate with each as fast as they used to? I hate getting old! Sorry for posting too hasteily. I changed the record source of the form to
the underlying table and it works fine. Thanks anyway. Tony TonyWilliams wrote: I have a form based on a query. There are a number of tick boxes but none of them are active. Glad you got it fixed! Your original RecordSource apparently was a Read-Only
query. For the reasons why this happens, have a look at this from, Allen Browne: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-61.html -- Message posted via http://www.accessmonster.com |
