access 2000
when I link a .dbf file in ms access2000, I recieve a message "the microsoft
jet database engine connot open the file '*****.dbf'. It is already opened exclusively by another use, or you need permission to view its data" How to correct this problem? |

What is the version of FoxPro you are using? Alternatively, you can create an
DSN (Data Source - ODBC) to point to these *.dbf files by choosing "free table". When perform linking in Access, choose the DSN you have just created, then point to a file you want to link in to MS Access. Good luck!!
