Fresh data from subform to main form
I have a main form (05 Registrations form) and a subform (05b Registrations)
that pops up to allow you to register a child for a class. Works fine. I want this info that is entered into the subform to update/refresh the main form when I click the exit button. The way it is now, I have to close the subform, close the main form and reopen and it is there.....I've been reading all day and I can't figure it out. What do I put where to make this happen??? Thanks in advance! |

Fresh data from subform to main form
Why do you have to refresh the main form? That should not be necessary.
Since the form and subform have different record sources, changes to data in the sub form rarely affect data in the main form. What does the Exit button do? I will be happy to help, I just want to be sure we are doing the right thing. Fresh data from subform to main form
I'm sorry, let me rephrase. On the main form, I have a list of classes the
kids are currently registered to. On the popup form (not a subform) it allows me to register them for another class. When I close the popup form (the main form is still open), I want to see the new classes I just registered them for without exiting and reopening this main form. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I have it set up incorrectly? "Klatuu" wrote: Why do you have to refresh the main form? That should not be necessary.
