Default Downloading and backing up file

I am going to purchase the Office 2007 plus through a student discount. I
would rather not pay for a backup disk but would like to burn the downloaded
file myself for future re-installs if I have to format my HD. Does this allow
me to do so?

Generally Its cheaper to buy from an online store
You can burn the installation file to disk, just ensure you verify the burn,
and finally check it actually works in real life
