Default None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.
I have outlook 2003 and have used it since august, we recently just started
recieving this error messege when we send out.
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test
Sent: 2/7/2005 1:13 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

' on 2/7/2005 1:13 PM
None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.
I have checked to make sure the authentication box is checked and also
checked what is displayed in the "Email type" field in the dialog for the
address and it says SMTP. We can receive mail but cannot send out.

The message means that none of the defined SMTP servers on your account(s)
could deliver the message. Try reconfiguring one of your accounts to
authenticate to the SMTP server. (Tools Email accounts View/change
existing accounts properties on an account more information outgoing
server tab (2nd tab i think) and configure it to authenticate to the smtp
server.

That box is checked. I dont' know what else to try. Any other ideas ?

Thats odd, that usually fixes it. How about this.. if you do not have SP1
for Office/Outlook 2003 installed. Apply it. From there, turn on
diagnostic logging, duplicated the issue, and then post the OPMLog file that
gets generated. I'm sure that I can get Jeff to look at and see if there is
something else funky with SMTP.

I was having a problem for months sending to one address always getting the
message "none of your email accounts could send to this recipient", although
I could receive email from that recipient. The from field was missing when I
checked the unsent message. I too thought I had a MS Office Outlook problem
like so many others that have posted to this site until the owner of the
address I was unable to send to told me another person who used the same ISP
as myself and that this ISP was the server for the problem address. It turned
out it was an ISP issue and has since been corrected by them. I had spoken to
them previously about this problem and they told me my email was working fine
and it was a MS Outlook issue! A more attentive support person found there
was an ISP issue. Could send to address via Hotmail but ISP webmail also
failed to send. I would suggest if you cannot send via your ISPs webmail then
it is an ISP issue.

Thats odd, that usually fixes it. How about this.. if you do not have SP1
for Office/Outlook 2003 installed. Apply it. From there, turn on
diagnostic logging, duplicated the issue, and then post the OPMLog file that
gets generated. I'm sure that I can get Jeff to look at and see if there is
something else funky with SMTP.

This appears to indicate that the domain of the address you're using in this
account doesn't match the "cableone.net" domain or that you're not properly
authenticating to the outgoing server for this account.
