CONTACTS folder and some under MAILBOX. Now, i want to import contacts into
a particular folder, but everytime i do that, all contacts get imported into
the main CONTACTS folder under mailbox. Please advise.

Sorry. my bad.
1. Outlook 2007.
2. contacts as .vcf files in a folder copied over from phone memory cards.
3. File--Import export-- import a VCARD file ( .vcf) --choose the folder
and select all .vcf

Outlook does not support importing multiple VCF cards. Accordingly, there is
no reason to use import for a single VCF card. Just drag it to the folder in
which you want it to reside.

Repeating. Since you can only import one VCF file at a time, there is no
reason to use import at all. Just drag the VCF file to the folder where you
want it to reside. That way you circumvent the limitation on only being able
to import to your default folder.
