Default LDAP In MS Outlook

Active Directory is set up as a directory service in Outlook Express, which
our users use to search for addresses... Some users utilize MS Outlook 2000,
but so far I have been unable to get the same directory service working...
Any suggestions? It shouldn't be that difficult, but the searched that I do
in MS Outlook Add B with LDAP returns nothing whilst in Outlook EXP. it works
just fine! Please help!
