me!Object.Requery

I am building a form with list boxes and I am attempting to execute a
Me!Object.Requery statement, essentially where the selected item in box one
will requery box two, and the selected item in box 2 will requery box three.

I am inserting this statement on the list box in the AfterUpdate property,
but I feel as if I am missing something in the BeforeUpdate property.
Whenever I open the form, I get an error that reads :Return without GoSub.

Any ideas how to correct this issue?

That's a VBA syntax error, and doesn't sound like it has anything to do with
the Requery. Please post the code from the form's module, or at least the
code from the last procedure(s) you edited before this error started
appearing.
