Can anyone advise how to remove a program from Excel to
another program such as MSWord. I have a file that is incompatible with Excel.

Excel is a program. Word is a program. They each work with different file types. What type of file is "incompatible" with Excel? Did you open an Excel file in Word and save it? More detail on your problem would be helpful.
