Default Autofilter - are number of rows limited?

I have a spreadsheet some 20 columns wide by 6000 rows. Autofilter has
been applied to all columns on the header row and has been working
without any problem. Have recently made some modifications and removed
autofilter. After modifications, reapplied autofilter, but now it will
only filter down to row 3541 (as opposed to row 6000 before). Can't
figure out why. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for link Frank, but unfortunatly doesn't deal with this problem.
The issue is with the number of rows filtered, not the number of items
displayed in the drop-down. Nick

Hi
sorry. Have you checked that there're no blank rows in between?
Also try selecting your entiere data range and then apply autofilter

Thanks Frank.
Selecting whole range works. Didn't need to b4, but now I know. Thanks
again.
