Default Design View

I flicked from table view to design view to make sure that all the fields were correct and when I tried to flick back to table view, it asked me to save my database, and when warned me that all my records had been deleted. I had to close the whole program and re open it. When I opened the database again, a whole column of information had been erased.

Does anyone have any idea why or how this happened?

Many thanks!

Your table has been corrupted, and from the symptoms my money would be on
Name AutoCorrect as the cause. It is the source of *many* problems, e.g.:
http://allenbrowne.com/bug-03.html

Create a new database, turn off Name AutoCorrect, and import that table from
a backup:
File | Get External | Import
You probably import your other tables, queries, forms, etc from the problem
database.
