Design View
I flicked from table view to design view to make sure that all the fields were correct and when I tried to flick back to table view, it asked me to save my database, and when warned me that all my records had been deleted. I had to close the whole program and re open it. When I opened the database again, a whole column of information had been erased.
Does anyone have any idea why or how this happened? Many thanks! |

Design View
Your table has been corrupted, and from the symptoms my money would be on
Name AutoCorrect as the cause. It is the source of *many* problems, e.g.: http://allenbrowne.com/bug-03.html Create a new database, turn off Name AutoCorrect, and import that table from a backup: File | Get External | Import You probably import your other tables, queries, forms, etc from the problem database. -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
