Default win98,outlook98,winfax -- kodak imaging disappeared, can't open faxes

we use winfax in outlook to send and receive faxes. this
weekend the kodak imaging viewer disappeared. we can no
longer open faxes. ms knowledge base has no info that i
can find. paid support says the software is 'too old'.
win98se and later don't support faxes through outlook.
symantec's winfax doesn't work w/ win98.

help.

Clarify your post.
None of your version information is clear nor is any of your information
accurate. Win 98 does support faxing through Outlook and WinFax SE did work
with Win 98. Review this:

List the steps that cause "kodak imaging viewer" to "disappear."
