2000 OPS File with Office 2003
I am in the process of upgrading the computers in our
enterprise from Office 2000 to Office 2003. Because of the way that Office 2000 was originally installed, I am planning on removing Office 2000 before installing Office 2003. Can I create an OPS file from Office 2000 and restore it for Office 2003? If so, do I use the 2000 ORK to create the OPS and restore it with the 2003 version? |

2000 OPS File with Office 2003
Hi John,
You shouldn't have to do anything special. Uninstalling Office 2000 will NOT remove the User settings/files so they should be migrated to 2003 without any special action. Give it a try, I think you will find that everything is migrated without troubles. Mark Plantenberg Microsoft Product Support Services |
