Default FAX requirements

Hello,

I have windows 2000 server. We have fax machine not
connected to any system. Its a stand alone. I want to send
and receive FAXs thru email(means thru computer). So that
i can reduce my expenses. How can i do this. Which
software is useful and what are the system requirements.

Can anyone suggest me.
