Default changing name on license agreement

My sister recently gave me her computer. All the Microsoft
programs are already installed but they are under her name
and licensed to her. How do I change the license agreement
so that my name is on the screen when the programs start
instead of hers? She gave me no discs or instructions on
how to do any of these things and this is the first
computer that I have ever had.

Tammy

Without discs to re-install, you will have to make changes to the Windows
Registry.

Assuming you are aware of the precautions taken when editing the
Registry and know how to restore a recent backup of same.......

If not, maybe have a look here first...scroll down to "Registry
editing tips"

http://www.activewin.com/tips/reg/index.shtml

When comfortable with the instructions and caveats found there, go to
StartRun and enter "regedit"(no quotes).

Click on EditFind.

Type your sister's name into the find box.

At each found location, change to your name.
