Did you download Office 2007 Pro Plus Beta 2 for $1.50? You might have
just downloaded the B2TR patch (which you need after installing Beta 2).

Remove all of Office 2007 again, then run the Office 2003 setup to
remove Outlook 2003. Then run those files again (OPPLUS, OPP-EN, etc).
After you have all the programs you want installed, install B2TR. See my
webpage for links.

Default How do I install Office Beta 2007

Hi R.W.,

What are the steps you're using to install MS Office 2007 Professional Edition Beta2 and on what version of Windows?
OPplus-EN.exe is the Office 2007 Beta 2 Professional Edition.

The Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 Beta2 was BCM-en.exe.

Default How do I install Office Beta 2007

Hi Patrick & Bob
Some more information for you.
1.I am using Office XP with outlook.
2.To download I ran the link from the EM sent to me. I then saved to a
folder. When I tried to run the Icon it gave me a Failed to Install error
message. Or something like that. Then I went back to the EM link and used
the run command instead of the save to foele command. This ent throught the
install procedures, took my key and completed the installation.
3.Side note for whatever it is worth. I have jut installed Internet
Explorer 7. I notice when I compared with other people that it is not
displaying the entire web page. For example it is stripping images.
Cheers

Hi R.W.,

Be sure to always backup your files anytime that you upgrade, update or tinker with your installed software. While updating isn't
intended to cause problems with data files, something could go wrong during the process, so keep safety copies on a regular basis.

Office can only one run version of MS Office Outlook that is installed. The folks in the MS Office Outlook group can help with more
details on switching from one version to another (using the links below).

If you have MS Office XP (2002 app versions) installed rather than a separate MS Outlook 2002 install then the feature list for
Office XP should show Outlook 2002 as already disabled after upgrading to a newer Office version.

If you have a retail version of Office XP (not standalone Outlook, but
an actual Office), I'd recommend to remove Outlook XP before you run
Office 2007 setup. There is a bug in the beta 2 installer that doesn't
remove Outlook for some Office XP/2003 retail packages.
Settings are not affected when you remove Outlook. However, you should
write them down, as creating a new profile is a good thing to do when
going to a newer version of Outlook.
