Excel Row Limitation
Currently, there are only 65,536 rows available in my EXCEL spreadsheets. I
work with large amounts of data which necessitates the usage of multiple spreadsheets. Is there any way to expand the number of rows available? Thank you, Scott |

If there were some way to do this, then 65,536 would not be the limit!

Excel Row Limitation
Hi,
I strongly recommend that you consider 2007 it has 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns. However, in 2003 you can install the web spreadsheet component and imbed it within the regular spreadsheet. To do this right click any toolbar and choose Control Toolbox. Click the More Controls button and find the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet component. If there are more than one pick the lastest one, maybe 11, and click in you spreadsheet. Version 11 has 262,144 rows and ZZZ columns (18,278). Interestingly, this is more columns the 2007 but less rows. You play with this tool and see if you can use it to some advantage. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "NPVSRUS" wrote: Currently, there are only 65,536 rows available in my EXCEL spreadsheets. Excel Row Limitation
Thanx to everyone for your advice. I found out that my company has a site
license for EXCEL 2007 and have downloaded it. I'm trying to combine two worksheets that go over 65,536 rows using copy and paste from one to another and keep getting an error. Is there something special I need to do in order to add rows above the 65,536 row limitation?
