Default Visio2003 - How do I get a 3 segment straight line connector?

I'm trying to diagram a series of connections and would like to use a 3 sided
connector - the default is 2 sided or curved. Unlike Illustrator, I cannot
seem to find any way to insert an additional vertices.

Any ideas (other than connecting a line and a connector visually)?

Under File Shapes Visio Extras Connectors you can find some specialty
connectors shapes.
