Default Outlook 2003 with Windows 7

Has anyone installed Outlook 2003 on Windows 7? If yes, does it work
properly? I just bought a new PC with Windows 7 and do not want to purchase
new Outlook software yet. Thanks.

Some people have said Outlook 2003 is not compatible with Windows 7 but
there isn't any official information from Microsoft about this.

If you want an email program (basic but really good) then Windows Live Mail
could be the answer (this is also Microsoft free program) .

Hello Wendy,

Office 2003 is compatible with Windows 7.

Verify it here;
Check out the Windows 7 Compatibility site: (There you will find out about hardware and software compatibility.)
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx
There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

There are also some great articles, instructional videos and such to help with your Windows 7 at our Springboard site:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

Thanks again,
John M.
