Setting dual relationship with tool connector

Hi,
I am using Visio 2002. I am setting up an organizational chart with some employees that have dual responsibility. On my first org chart I was able to use the connector tool to show a dual reporting( one employee reports to two managers). I would just link on the bottom of the square and then I would move the line to accommodate the relationship. Then I started a second org chart and it wouldn’t allow me to do the same.

Now what happens is when I try to set up the second relationship Visio automatically re-routes the first relationship. Then when I try to set up the original relationship, it re-routs the second relationship. This becomes a big cycle.

I was able to find a work around but I want to be able to link all the relationships without this workaround. MY work around consisted of linking to the line not the actual box.
