Default Counting contacts in the contacts folders

Hi,

I must be missing something somewhere.

Where in Outlook 2003 can/should I refer to that will tell me how many
contacts exist in a contacts folder and/or subfolder?

Bye,

JV

The status bar in any Contact Folder view. If you don't see it, add it from
the View menu.

I'm sorry, I must be dense. I have the same question, but
cannot figure out what you are saying, Russ. Where in the
View menu does it say "count the contacts?" or something
like that, that will give me that information.
Particularly in the distribution lists of contacts. I
have to hand count each one to know how many are in the
list. Help please.

View Status Bar.
The Status Bar will display the count in a Contacts Folder.
Nothing will display the count in a DL.

Go to folder list view & Right click on the specific
contact folder. Under properties you can select the
option to view the number of items in that folder!
