Default Contacts to address book

I have a brand new outlook setup on new hardrive. I loaded my contacts with
a file I saved from old computer harddrive. They show up in contacts but
the address book is empty??
Is there a way to get this added to my address book?

Thanks for any help in advance,
Joe

Right click on the Contacts folder, choose Properties, go to the Outlook
Address Book tab and check the "Show this folder as an email address book"
box

My check box is disabled. I'm using MS Outlook 2003 and I imported my
contacts from Hotmail - Outlook Express - Outlook. Any help would be
appreciated.

Vicne, Thanks for the response. I looked and that is already checked. I
unchecked closed and then went back and checked again but address book
remains empty.

???
Thanks for the help. If there is something else I can look at please advise.

In your case, make sure you've got the Outlook Address Book installed he
Tools menu Email accounts View/Change existing address books or
directories Click Next.

If it's not there, add it then go back and try to check that box
