Default hyperlinks

Hello,
I have a column in one of my tables that hyperlinks to an audio file .wav.
When i click on the hyperlink in access, nothing happens. However, if i copy
that hyperlink into an address bar on my computer the file opens, so i know
that the address is correct.

Any ideas on why the file won't open when i click on the link in access.
Other links work. For example if i put a link to an excel file, the file
opens up.

Thanks
