Default Can't open 2000 with 2003

Mary,

I am not sure what you mean. Where would I find this option"files of type"? I am not sure if they are corrupt, but all the files I can't open have the 8/1/2003 date. If I go to File, I see OPEN and OPEN WITH...none of which has been successful. Also can't seem to locate where "save files of any type" can be located

When you go to file, open, you see at the very bottom, "All Publisher files", expand
this and scroll down to " recover text from any file". see attached. Have you
right-clicked the files to be sure they aren't read only? If they all have the same
date... Did you copy them over from a CD or another removable device?
