Is it possible to import footnotes with a Word document?
I have a large Word document with footnotes that needs to be imported into
Publisher. Can the footnotes be transferred as well? I have looked in the Help and online about this, and found nothing. Thank you, Amy

Is it possible to import footnotes with a Word document?
Publisher does support footnotes. Large documents are best done in Word.

Mary Sauer was very recently heard to
utter: Publisher does support footnotes. No, it doesn't. Perhaps you intended to put the word "not" in third position in the sentence? :-) -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher

Seems if publisher is needed for a final manuscript, the user needs to print the manuscript as a guide to manually REINSERT all the footnotes and numbers in the final published document.

If you are doing a "manuscript", why Publisher? If Word has already created
