Missing Default Access Menu
I designed a database with a switchboard, and the database and switchboard,
etc work fine. In Startup, on the tools menu, I selected not to display menus and toolbars, as I didn't want it to be accessible to users. Now I have a reason to use it, but cannot restore the menu to allow me access to startup. I can open another database, or start a new one, and make the selections, but the database I'm working on does not change. I'm assuming these settings are specific to each database. Is there a way to restore the original menus and toolbars when the tools and view menus are not visible? Thank you. |

Missing Default Access Menu
Hold down the Shift key while opening the database. Keep the Shift key held
down until the database is fully opened. For example if any of the irritating security popups show, keep the key pressed down while clicking on the popups. -- Jerry Whittle, Microsoft Access MVP Light. Strong. Cheap. Pick two. Thanks Jerry!
It worked - and a little note in my access help files. Thanks again. Al "Jerry Whittle" wrote: Hold down the Shift key while opening the database.
