Opening Access database
I designed access database that is being accessed by about ten users on a
peer to peer network. It contains about 25thousand record from five tables and forms. We closed the database one day to go for lunch and we could not reopen it ever since. Each time we tried opening it, we get the message 'The microsoft Jet database engine could not find object "Msysob" . Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and path name correctly.' What can I do to be able open this database. Note that I can open other databases without modifying my installations |

If so then you may have suffered a catastrophic corruption. Try importing the objects into a new file, failing that it's time to go for your most recent backup.
